The children in Class 2 have been looking at weathering as part of their work in science and this has involved a trip to Bradworthy church to look at the graveyard.

The children were looking for examples of the way in which things like rain and frost can alter and break things which are outside, and when you consider the terrible weather we have had since half term it is hardly surprising that they found lots of evidence of this !!!

It was interesting to see how the amount of time the grave stones have been standing outside effects the way in which they look.
We also thought about how stones made from different materials weather at different speeds.

The children in Class 3 have been writing shape poems.
We hope you enjoy reading them.
